I'm a Monologue Slam 2019 Finalist!!!

Just found out that i am a finalist in the 2019 London Monologue Slam! I'm so so happy to have made it to the show on the 15th of July, especially because the monologue i got through with, is a piece i have written called 'Booze'. The piece follows Kate as she confronts her Dad when she finds him in the pub after he has bailed on plans to see her yet again. We see her desperation of having an alcoholic Dad and how she feels he has chosen the booze over her one too many times. The piece is very raw, gritty and is a conversation i know many people have with their parents when it feels the roles have reversed.

Excited to do lots of work on the piece before the Slam and hopefully pull it out of the bag on the night! Bring it on!!!
